Therapist
The Therapist position provides counseling services to victims of abuse/trauma and their non-offending family members.
Responsibilities include:
Provide individual, play, group and/or family therapy sessions
Conduct basic diagnostic evaluations
Provide crisis intervention to clients.
Provide court support to clients
Maintain proper documentation in CAC electronic health record/client files
Participate in weekly case review meetings
Provide on-going feedback to team regarding victim’s progress/emotional state
Participate in all supervision guidelines required by licensing Board.
Maintain all minimum professional liability insurance.
Maintain all ethical guideless by licensing Board and ACA regulations.
Assist with general Center operations as needed
Participate in community and special events
Requirements:
LPC/LMFT/LCSW Associate or LMSW license will be considered
2 years professional experience in services for children
Knowledge of child sexual/physical abuse dynamics strongly preferred
Play therapy experience is a plus
Knowledge of psychological assessment administration and interpretation
